No more anal leakage

Well, on the packaging anyway. The great laugh I always get when I see the fine-print at the bottom of the foods that use olestra - "side effects may include ...blah blah blah .. and anal leakage" - is soon to be denied to me by the US FDA, who will no longer "require companies that sell snacks and other foods containing the controversial fat substitute olestra to warn that it can cause cramping and other digestive problems."

Other digestive problems. Go on, say it ... anal leakage.

Unless of course the NZ equivalent of the FDA doesn't play along, and keeps the requirement in. And why not? After all, it's such an cheap and easy laugh.
